As the on-set acting coach of Nickelodeon’s hit TV show, The Haunted Hathaways, I sat in on over 50 table reads. The table read takes place at the beginning of every episode before rehearsal starts. The producers, writers, and network execs want to hear what the script sounds like so they can give notes on any changes they may want to make. There are definite do’s and don’ts to nailing your table read so that your experience on set will be a great one.
